A Founder's Journey: Building Lumo
For over 20 years, I've worked in leadership development across multinational companies, tech startups, and growing enterprises. Throughout this journey, I observed a recurring issue: traditional leadership programs often fall short in addressing the unique challenges faced by managers today. These programs were typically short, generic, and failed to create lasting change.
The realization that something had to change came from a deep-seated belief in the potential of effective leadership. Managers who feel unprepared or unsupported often become disengaged, creating a ripple effect that impacts entire organizations. The statistics were alarming: only 28% of employees would strongly recommend their manager, and 71% of companies felt their leaders couldn't steer them into the future.
